Yes please:
- Genres: science fiction, fantasy, action, adventure, psychological, angst, hurt/comfort, bittersweet or happy endings
- Gen tags: world-building, time travel, fix-it, epic battles, ranged combat, magic, mythology, BAMFs, backstory, chosen families, punny/wordplay humour/sass, character development, breaking stereotypes (e.g. someone being underestimated for zyr gender/appearance, someone always being mistaken for the villain because of zyr social awkwardness/resting bitch face/etc.), exploring how societal structure shapes internalised stereotypes in an AU (e.g. soulmates, alternate gender norms, matriarchal society, A/B/O, etc.), the usual sci-fi/fantasy tropes (superhuman abilities, mythological creatures, daemons, etc.), any sort of apocalypse from zombies to alien invasion, no plan ever survives first contact, realistic fix-its or time travel that actually consider the consequences of these actions on the future, missing scene, future fic, angst with a happy ending
- Ship tags: soulmates (preferably not first word tattoos), reincarnation/parallel universes where they always find each other, established relationship, atypical means of expressing affection, angsty misunderstandings, UST, best friends getting married for practical purposes, asexual relationship
- Kinks: Service top, losing self-control, dirty talk, analingus, fellation, phone sex, delayed orgasm, vibrators, non-penetrative sex acts, pretty much anything that indicates complete trust in your partner e.g. bondage/blindfolds/handcuffs/power dynamics/in-character weapons-play (i.e. only if the character is a weapons specialist), lifestyle D/S without feminization/uwufication or making the sub look weak, voyeurism (between characters in an established relationship only)
- Prefers canon divergence or futurefic rather than complete AUs - AU twists on canon events are a bonus
- For crossovers, prefers fusions (i.e. characters from Fandom A and setting from Fandom B) to the "character lands in a different world"

Things many people hate but I don't mind:
- Character death, especially if you explore the aftermath and reactions to it
- Rape, especially if canon, as long as it's not Character A of my ship raping B
- Graphic descriptions of violence/death
- Obviously, please no gratuitous rape or violence.
- As a rule, I read a fic for the plot and the characters, not the pairing - usually I end up liking the pairing in a fic because of the way the characters are written. I have been known to consume Explicit epics featuring my NOTPs because the writing/characterisation was so good, and hitting the "back" button on epics featuring my OTPs because of the plot.
No thank you
- Genres: fluff, domestic, horror, romcom, PWP (except for my OTPs - in fact, if you have to write a PWP, go for one of the OTPs listed above)
- Tropes: meet-cute, meet-ugly, embarrassment, love at first sight, mundane AU (unless your "high school" is "Sky High"), kid!fic (mpreg, hetpreg, adoption, accidental baby acquisition, deaging...), excessive focus on the physical appearance of the characters, people who have sex when there are clearly more important things to do, BAMFs somehow ending up being worse-than-useless in a fight after they fall in love, BAMF women relegated to playing house the moment they get married, every villain is just a misunderstood hero (do agree that some are, but not all, and this certainly doesn't excuse their actions)
- Sexual situations: underage, non-con, dub-con, abuse, humiliation, hardcore S&M, animal-play, age-play, consent-play, blood-play, crossdressing, watersports, scat
- Don't add references to pop culture or American history, I won't get them. So period AUs and most film crossovers/fusions are out, unless you don't need to know anything about the other film to read the fic.
Really, no:
- Characters being forced into embarrassing themselves in a socially awkward situation.
- Situations where family and friends intervene in a relationship "because they love you and want the best for you"
- Public displays of affection. In front of close friends/family is the max.
- Most popular terms of endearment, other than "darling" or "sweetheart".
- Feminization or uwufication of either of the characters in an M/M relationship (basically, seme/uke).
- Dragons. I don't hate dragons, but I'm ambivalent about them. I've never watched any of those popular dragon-oriented movies. So, something like a dragon AU where the characters train to become dragon-riders to defeat your-choice-of-evil-monsters-here would be cool, but a fic focused on characters appreciating dragons "just because"... wouldn't. Actually, extend this to "appreciating any supernatural creature just for existing".
- Ditto for giant robots (i.e. the entire mecha genre).
